Canelo Alvarez has renewed his online feud with Floyd Mayweather, accusing the former champion of being “salty and bitter”. The pair have been involved in an ongoing war of words since their fight back in 2013, which Mayweather won by majority decision.
The 44-year-old called the victory a “cakewalk” when posting on social media recently, having previously criticised Alvarez for failing a drug test ahead of his 2018 rematch with Gennady Golovkin.
Alvarez, who became the first ever undisputed middleweight champion after knocking out Caleb Plant last month, has hit back at Mayweather by seemingly claiming he’s achieved more than Mayweather.
