Detectives reopen the murders of Peter and Gwenda Dixon and siblings Richard and Helen Thomas and led by detective Steve Wilkins.
Wilkins is played by Luke Evans on screen as they go through the evidence and use new DNA techniques to get to the bottom of the cold case.
The drama is based on the book, Catching the Bullseye Killer, which was written by Senior Investigating Officer Wilkins and ITV journalist Jonathan Hill.
