ScotRail have hit back at a cheeky traveller who planned to ‘cheat’ the ticket system just months after asking the rail operator about a job.
The Twitter exchange has racked up several likes and hilarious responses after user Greg Hamilton stated that he planned to travel with the wrong ticket.
It came as the travel giant announced they would be reintroducing ticket checks on board their services across Scotland as lockdown travel restrictions ease.
On Sunday morning, Greg tweeted: “Customers are warning ScotRail that as this is the last day of staff being unable to check tickets on trains due to COVID, I’m off half way across the country for the price of a one stop child single and there’s s*** all you can do about it.”But the eagle-eyed.
