PIERS Morgan has jokingly begged fans to "help an old jobless man" in a campaign to get his new book to number one. The 56-year-old took to Twitter in a bid to "stick it to the cancel culture club" after making a joke about returning to Good Morning Britain.

Piers, who dramatically stormed off GMB last month before quitting the ITV show, filmed himself from the office of his home, where he had stacked shelves with his own book. "I'm not actually returning to Good Morning Britain, that was just a little April Fools joke," he told fans of his prank.
