Call the Midwife fans fear for Sister Julienne and Dr Turner after tragic train crash
Call the Midwife fans have been left in limbo after much-loved main characters Dr Turner (Stephen McGann) and Sister Julienne (Jenny Agutter) were involved in a devastating train crash. In scenes that aired on BBC One on Sunday 13 February, Dr Turner and Sister Julienne were seen boarding a train after attending a conference alongside young nurse Nancy Corrigan (Megan Cusack). However, as their train travelled from Chelmsford to Liverpool Street, the driver suffered what appeared to be a brain haemorrhage, which led to a fatal crash.
