“Breaking Bad Habits”: Bryan Cranston reprises Walter White role in anti-littering advert
Bryan Cranston has reprised his role as Breaking Bad’s Walter White in a new anti-littering advert.The public service ad is called ‘Breaking Bad Habits’ in a nod to the smash hit drama, and it aims to encourage people to stop littering in the state of New Mexico.It recreates a famous desert scene from the show, with Cranston collecting litter from the ground as he portrays White, and warns viewers, “Keep litter out of my territory.”There’s a reference to the Breaking Bad pilot, too, with a pair of khaki trousers seen on the ground – in the episode, White loses his trousers in the desert while making a quick getaway.Bryan Cranston returns as Walter White for an anti-littering commercial in New Mexico. pic.twitter.com/IFRw08uChQ— DiscussingFilm (@DiscussingFilm) October 20, 2024The governor of New Mexico, Lujan Grisham, appears in the ad, too, as does Tim Keller, the mayor of the city of Albuquerque.But it was the return of Cranston as White that got the most excitement, with fans on social media rejoicing.
