trade union official who represents civilian police and fire service workers has been charged with sex assaults.Gerry Crawley - a regional organiser with Unison - allegedly molested a woman on various occasions over a two and a half-year period.He pleaded not guilty to the charges at Hamilton Sheriff Court yesterday.The 58-year-old, former Labour councillor, of East Kilbride, Lanarkshire, is also accused of performing a sex act in her presence.The court heard how he allegedly assaulted the woman at his home, at another address in East Kilbride and in a vehicle.It's claimed he asked to see her underwear, touched her underwear, placed his hands under her clothing and touched her body.Prosecutors also say he grabbed the woman and tried to kiss
