AFM: AGC Studios Options David Gilman's Espionage Thriller 'The Englishman'
Stuart Ford's AGC Studios has optioned the film rights to The Englishman, the first in a planned book series from bestselling author David Gilman (Master of War). The Englishman is a contemporary espionage thriller focused on Dan Raglan, a one-time member of the French Foreign Legion and professionally-trained killer, who, after taking on Islamic terrorists in sub-Saharan Africa, is recruited by Britain's MI6 for a clandestine operation that will take him around the globe, from to the world of organized crime in London to a Siberian penal colony.
