Miranda Derrick, the subject of the Netflix documentary Dancing for the Devil: The 7M TikTok Cult, is speaking out with an update on her relationship with her family.
The 27-year-old dancer and TikTok star also claims that her life is in danger following Netflix’s release of the documentary.
The series explores Miranda‘s estrangement from her family after joining a religious organization. Miranda‘s family provides testimonials for the series and tells stories about how she allegedly changed as a person, missed her grandfather’s funeral, and cut off contact with them amid her involvement with 7M.
She previously slammed the documentary in her first public statement. “Before this documentary, my husband and I, we felt safe,” Miranda said in a video posted to her Instagram page on Monday (June 10). “Now that this documentary is out, we feel like our lives have been put in danger.” Keep reading to find out more… She continued, “We have both been followed in our cars, we have received hate mail, death threats, people have been sending us messages to commit suicide, and we’ve been stalked.” Miranda spoke about some of the threats, saying, “Someone said that, if I see you on the street, I’m going to come and get you so you better get security.
