Meghan Markle recalls 'vulnerable' moment where she was asked if she was OK on final tour
ok.co.ukMeghan Markle has opened up on the famous - and in her words “vulnerable” - moment she was asked if she was “okay” during her final royal tour in Africa with husband Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex.
Meghan, 40, was asked the question in 2019 by journalist Tom Bradby, which aired on ITV documentary Harry & Meghan: An African Journey.
In reply to Tom, Meghan said honestly: "Thank you for asking because not many people have asked if I’m okay, but it’s a very real thing to be going through behind the scenes.” She continued: “Any woman, especially when they're pregnant, you're really vulnerable.
So, that was made really challenging. And, then when you have a newborn, and especially as a woman, it's a lot. So, you add this on top of just trying to be a new mom or trying to be a newlywed."
