Manchester United have been given encouragement in their pursuit of former Celtic striker Moussa Dembele after Lyon's chairman admitted he may struggle to hold on to his top stars.
The French club have been adamant that they would not sell the player in January despite significant interest from Old Trafford and Frank Lampard's Chelsea.
