Manchester United Under-23s boss Neil Wood believes centre-back Teden Mengi can replicate Brandon Williams' journey to the first team.
Mengi, who has only just celebrated his 18th birthday, has been one of the academy's breakthrough stars of the 2019/20 season.
He's captained United's Under-18s to the FA Cup Youth Cup semi-finals, featured regularly for an older age group in the Under-23s and travelled with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's senior squad on their Europa League trip to Astana.
And although Mengi is still awaiting his senior debut, Wood is adamant he can look with confidence to the example set by Williams.
