Adam Collard has matured after "suppressing his huge ego" since his first stint in the Love Island villa, as a body language expert has said. The 26 year old was first on the hit ITV dating programme back in 2018, but experienced a rough time after his head was turned from Rosie Williams to bombshell Zara McDermott – a behaviour that sparked a warning from Women's Aid.

Now, it appears he's changed and is currently going strong with Paige Thorne, 24, as the pair have even decided to be exclusive with each other.

Speaking on behalf of MyBettingSites, body language expert Darren Stanton, told OK! that Adam arrived into the villa as a "bad boy", but has actually become "more mature" since his first time on the show. "He has suppressed parts of the huge ego he previously had after realising it’s prevented him from finding a partner.

Now, we see him invested in Paige and wanting to show her that he is committed to her," he explained. Darren went on to share the subtle signs that show Adam is serious about his romance with the Welsh beauty as he continued: “Adam often displays prolonged eye gazing – a prerequisite for reciprocal liking – where he holds his eye contact with Paige in an attempt to build a level of trust and rapport with her. "When he speaks to Paige about wanting a future together, his voice tone is consistent, there are no pitch changes or breaks, which is a usual sign of being deceptive or an emotional shift." "It shows that Adam, in his approach this year, he is speaking from the heart and being genuine," he added.
