Thanks to Love Island, Crocs – breathable, rubber, clog-like footwear – are making a serious comeback this year, especially the white colourway, which viewers have noticed are becoming a favourite amongst the female cast.

In last night’s episode alone, Faye, Kaz and Millie were all sporting the controversial style and fans flocked to Twitter to share their amusement. “Why do all the girls all have matching white crocs,” one person asks, whilst another viewer jokes; “Is today white crocs day in the villa?” “Wait, did they have those white crocs this entire season,” a third says.
