schoolboy battling cancer who asked for 'A Broony' haircut inspired by his Celtic idol Scott Brown has celebrated his sixth birthday with a massive 5ft superhero cake. Ace Ward, from Irvine, Ayrshire, captured our hearts back in March when we told how he overcame his fear of losing his hair after rounds of chemotherapy by saying 'I'll have a Broony!', just like his bald Hoops hero, when his mum asked him about shaving it all off.
