Laura Whitmore won't be in Love Island villa for this year's coupling up ceremonies

Laura Whitmore has revealed she’s not allowed to set foot in the main Love Island villa this year because of strict Covid guidelines.

The TV presenter is welcoming a new gang of singletons to the Mallorca mansion for a new summer of love and raunchy antics, with the first episode airing tonight.

However, while normally she would be allowed to snoop around the 11 contestants’ new home, this year she’s not allowed as she’s not part of the house’s Covid bubble.

Speaking to Richard Arnold on Good Morning Britain, Laura explained: “Well they're all in a bubble together, so the islanders have been out there for two weeks beforehand, I feel like all of Majorca is just going to be the cast of Love Island! “I'm not going to be in the villa at all,.
