PrettyLittleThing has announced Love Island 2022 runner-up Gemma Owen as its latest UK brand ambassador. The 19-year-old has signed a huge deal with the Manchester-based global fashion brand just weeks after the ITV2 show ended after impressing CEO Umar Kamani.
Michael Owen's daughter is following in the footsteps of Molly-Mae Hague, who signed a big deal with PLT after her appearance on the show in 2019 - and went on to become the brand's creative director last year.
Gemma is the only other Love Island contestant that the brand has signed as an ambassador since taking on Molly-Mae. In the year-long deal, Gemma will design and release her own collections as well as help the brand launch their new resale platform ‘PLT Marketplace’ where shoppers can buy and sell second-hand clothes.
She will also be sharing exclusive content across PLT’s YouTube, Instagram and TikTok channels.
