'You are not alone', is the message from Bury Hospice's chief executive. Eloise Burke has been reaching out to let people around the town know that the hospice is still running, despite being forced to close all of its charity shops during the current pandemic.
While most people have been told to stay at home, staff at the Rochdale Old Road centre continue to care and provide comfort for patients who are suffering with terminal conditions.
Some employees are even having to pitch in and take on new jobs and responsibilities to make sure services run as smoothly as possible.
