In heartbreaking scenes, Chantelle was murdered at the hands of her abusive husband Gray (Toby-Alexander Smith) following months of attacks.
Her exit scenes haunted EastEnders fans when it played out on screens in late September last year. But in a new interview, Jessica confessed if EastEnders bosses called her tomorrow she wouldn't be able to turn an offer down to return to Albert Square.
She told OK! magazine : "I do think it was the right time to leave. I love doing things and then moving onto something else.
