CCTV captures man, 26, in shopping centre moments before his tragic death, inquest told

CCTV captured Mr McGowan going into the shopping centre alone, before making his way to a lift.Emergency services rushed to the incident but he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.An inquest into Mr McGowan's death was opened at Rochdale Coroners Court today (January 29).Police coroner's officer Paula Mills told the hearing how police were called to the incident at around 9.10am."Greater Manchester Police were called to the Rochdale Exchange Shopping square to reports of a male having fallen," Ms Mills said."The ambulance service was called and crews worked on the male however he was pronounced.
