Simon Cowell reportedly lost his temper with his Britain's Got Talent co-star David Walliams after he made a vulgar joke. Last week, music mogul Simon reunited with comedian David, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon for the ITV show after BGT was cancelled last year due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Despite the excitement of the new series, 62 year old Simon was said to have reached boiling point with David and was forced to remind him he was on a "family show".The situation reportedly occurred when handsome contestant Tim Jones took to the audition stage dressed in a police uniform.
According to The Sun, David joked: "Arrest me now!" As Tim began to explain what his talent consisted of, David interrupted to ask: "Is it getting your c*** out?" As Simon began to interject, Little Britain star David added: "Do you swing it around?" The last comment is said to have angered Simon further as he told him: "Get out, get out, this is supposed to be a family show!" He was then said to have turned to the audience to tell them: "When we have a break, we'll make him sit on his own for ten minutes." An audience member told the publication: "It was clear that David was sailing close to the wind with his jibes. Then he went too far.
Simon was visibly angry with him and exploded." OK! has contacted representatives for Simon and David for further comment. Last week, head judge Simon and his fellow judges returned to BGT auditions at the London Palladium. The return of the show's auditions came after it was reported that Simon had agreed to remain on BGT until 2025.
