Bob, the report said, had spoken to his wife, Kelly Rizzo, on the phone before going to bed. Kelly supposedly grew concerned when she hadn't heard from him the next day, especially given the fact he was supposed to fly back to Los Angeles in the afternoon.
Kelly eventually called the hotel to have security check on her husband. That's when hotel security entered the room and found the former "America's Funniest Home Videos" host's body in bed.Bob had recently gotten over COVID, but that's not believed to have contributed to his death.In fact, the actor had done a standup comedy gig in Jacksonville, Florida, the night before his death, and audience members said he seemed normal.
