ANNE-MARIE has broken her silence and made light of her dramatic fall at this year's Brit Awards. The singer, 30, was only moments into her performance at London's O2 Arena when she tumbled down several stairs.

Anne-Marie landed on the stage on her knees but, although her voice wobbled, she quickly got up and continued with her performance.

The Voice UK judge has now taken to Twitter and poked fun at her awkward moment - and fans are loving her reaction. Anne-Marie tweeted to her followers: "Didn’t need my left ankle anyway." Replying, one fan said: "You handled that like a queen!" Another told the singer: "You handled it amazingly!

If I were you I'd have just rolled along the floor until I was off the stage." A third said: "You recovered pretty well from it, I would have been screaming!" Meanwhile, Anne-Marie has also seen the funny side while sharing a joke with high street opticians Specsavers.
