Aly Michalka Welcomes First Child with Husband Stephen Ringer!

On Monday (June 10), the 35-year-old Aly & AJ singer and actress announced that she and husband Stephen Ringer quietly welcomed their first child together, a baby boy, in a home birth at their residence in Santa Barbara, Calif back in April. Keep reading to find out more…Aly and Stephen, 39, named their baby boy Jack Francis. “It was a very peaceful and calm birth, which is really what we were hoping for,” Aly recalled to People about Jack‘s birth. “He’s just a great little guy.
He’s got a really special disposition about him.” Jack was born at 6:40 am on Sunday, April 21, about two weeks before his due date.
He was born weighing 6 lbs., 10 oz. Aly went on to say that Jack‘s name was inspired by her late maternal grandfather while his middle name, Francis, is a family name on her husband’s side. “We just kind of knew immediately like, ‘Oh yeah, he’s a Jack,’” Aly added. Aly also said that spending time with Jack has been “magical,” sharing, “For the first week, I was in bed and just getting fed yummy meals by my husband, hydrating, sleeping with [Jack] and feeding him.
And a lot of diaper changes.” Aly and Stephen married back in 2015 in Italy. She announced back in January that she was pregnant.
