Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.
She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.
She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.
Susanna Reid is self isolating from coronavirus after her son started displaying symptoms. The ITV host was absent from the Good Morning Britain panel today - it instead featured Piers Morgan and Charlotte Hawkins.
Susanna explained to the hosts via video link that she will be off for two weeks after her son developed a dry cough yesterday.
The mum-of-two confirmed that she wasn't showing any symptoms herself, and would have gone into work if it wasn’t for yesterday’s government advice.
As the programme started, Piers told viewers: "Rather an unusual line-up. Susanna is not with us, she is self-isolating for 14 days. "I've heard of some ways of avoiding working with me but this is ridiculous!" Susanna joked that she was in self isolation
