Dad 'eaten alive' by midges after waking up with '500 bites' at Scots beauty spot
Arran.Stephen Durham, from Middlesbourgh, claims he was bitten ‘at least 500 times' all over his body after he nodded off wearing only his pants on Saturday. The 52-year-old had travelled to the beauty spot with his two pals Jonathan Long and Adam Robinson for a outdoors adventure.The trio climbed A'chir ridge before pitching a tent at Glen Rosa campsite and celebrated by cracking open a bottle of Jack Daniels.Stephen said: “I’m normally so careful with midges, I have my long sleeves and a net but I got so drunk it all went out the window.“I don't normally drink as a rule but we decided to take a bottle of Jack Daniels with us.“My pals went to bed.
