Foo Fighters donate prize to raffle raising money for out-of-work staff at Soho rock bar
The Crobar announced over the weekend that it was closing permanently due to the economic downturn caused by the coronavirus pandemic. The rock institution was a favourite haunt of a variety of rock legends including Alice Cooper, Slash, and members of Anthrax, Slayer and Red Hot Chili Peppers, while Dave Grohl hosted an after-party there in August 2008 following Foo Fighters’ epic London Wembley Stadium show.In the wake of the closure, The Crobar's bar managers, siblings Sophie and Joe Woodard, have launched an online raffle this week to raise money for their staff and bartenders who are currently unemployed.Testament to their legendary status, Foo Fighters personally gifted a mystery signed item to the raffle yesterday (23rd September),
