Teenage Cancer Trust to publish unseen footage from past Royal Albert Hall shows to raise much-needed funds
The Teenage Cancer Trust has announced that next month it will make never-before-seen footage from its regular series of fundraising shows at the Royal Albert Hall available to watch via YouTube. Each day from 8-18 Oct highlights from a different show will appear, including along the way performances from Ed Sheeran, Muse, Paul McCartney, Pulp and The Cure. Plus, of course, The Who, whose Roger Daltrey has long been the driving force behind the Teenage Cancer Trust shows. The streams will be available for free, but viewers will be encouraged to donate to the charity, which lost more than £1 million in proceeds when it had to call off its 2020 series of fundraising concerts because of COVID-19.
