Scots race aces start to tear up the tracks again
SCOTS racers have finally been back in action on tracks south of the Border – while others have announced plans for the months ahead.Dumfriesshire’s Ross Wylie headed to Yorkshire’s Croft circuit for the first round of the Britcar Endurance Championship, racing a Ferrari 488 Challenge with new partner Paul Bailey.In a first race full of incident last Saturday, the SB Race Engineering team managed to claim a fine second-place finish.Sunday’s second encounter was just as lively but Wylie put in a cool and calculated stint to secure the third podium spot, so he and Bailey lie second in the standings.Meanwhile, Lotus Evora driver Fraser Smart and Stanbridge Motorsport team-mate James Simons travelled to Snetterton in Norfolk for the opening
