Eddie Huang to Direct Documentary About Vice Media’s Rise and Fall (EXCLUSIVE)
Angelique Jackson Filmmaker, actor, chef and television personality Eddie Huang (“Boogie,” “Fresh Off the Boat”) has signed on to direct a new documentary exploring the rise and surprising fall of Vice Media. In a dramatic turn of events, the digital media company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in May after boasting a valuation of $5.7 billion in 2017. Earlier this month, Vice Media Group announced a new restructuring plan and layoffs in the wake of its bankruptcy and $350 million asset sale.
