Emmerdale's Suzy star Martelle Edinborough undergoes operation for brain aneurysm
Emmerdale actress Martelle Edinborough has revealed that she underwent major surgery for a brain aneurysm. Martelle, 35, who is best-known for playing party planner Suzy Merton in the ITV soap, took to Twitter to share the news of her operation – which was a success – as she thanked NHS staff for their work. "A few wks ago I was told an existing brain aneurysm thought to always be tiny & stable had in fact always been of a size that needed treatment,’ Martelle posted on her Twitter account early on Wednesday (April 19).The actress, who has starred in other TV soaps, continued: "Not sure where the error occurred for it to take so long to highlight this but despite the initial shock, I could only receive it as a Blessing & refused to allow it manifest into fear, stress & anxiety.
