A much-loved community farm hailed as a ‘hidden gem’ may soon be forced to close for good.A public inquiry is to decide the future of The Garden House, in Marple, following a long running planning wrangle with Stockport council.The popular visitor attraction, near the village’s Roman Lakes, features a host of animals, a campfire area, picnic benches and a cafe.A registered charity, it welcomes families every day of the week and works with local organisations and schools - putting a special emphasis on helping those with complex needs.It was founded by Kevin Swindells on the site of the old Marple tip - land he bought and spent weeks clearing of fly-tipping and pollution.These days it is also home to the Jubilee Pre-School and hosts the
