Tommy Sloan's delight as Auchinleck Talbot play first game in 15 months after Covid hibernation
after they were held to a 1-1 draw by West of Scotland League rivals Kello Rovers at Nithside Park.Ally Smith’s own goal put ‘Bot in front but Mark Armour netted a penalty equaliser for the Kirkconnel side on the stroke of half-time.It was a first game back with fans for Kello while Sloan watched his team come out of Covid hibernation following their decision to sit out last term which ended null and void anyway.Talbot's last action before the weekend came on March 11, 2020, when they won 2-0 at Clydebank, and Sloan was pleased to get back up and running. He told Ayrshire Live: “It was a good, competitive game.
