Bolton Wanderers announce former player departures as Academy restructure finalised
Academy manager Jimmy Phillips left the club last year and was announced last July, and now the Trotters have announced that several members of staff have now departed after finalising the restructure of the youth system at the University of Bolton Stadium. Former players David Lee, Nicky Spooner and Gavin McCann, have all left.The League Two side unveiled a transformation of the club's youth structure last March, which has included a discontinuing of Bolton's under 23s team.Also leaving the Academy are Steve Ellis, Paul Wroe, Ben Williams and Brian Morris.
