Florence Pugh, the actress who stars alongside Harry Styles in "Don’t Worry Darling," has recently been at the center of controversy with the film's director, Olivia Wilde.  On Monday, the actress was notably missing from the Venice Film Festival’s press conference as she was on a flight leaving for the "Dune: Part Two" set. Olivia Wilde dismissed the "tabloid gossip" surrounding her latest film "Don't Worry Darling" while answering press questions at the Venice Film Festival. Wilde, who starred in and directed the film, was asked about Florence Pugh's absence from the press event, according to multiple reports. Following filming, rumors surfaced that Pugh and Wilde had a falling out after the director began a romantic relationship with lead actor Harry Styles.

In September 2021, Oscar Isaac and Jessica Chastain were the stars of a viral video from their appearance at the Venice International Film Festival in 2021 to promote their show "Scenes From a Marriage," where the pair seemed maybe a little too comfortable with each other.  In the viral video, the two were posing with their arms around each other for photos. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary until Isaac appeared to kiss and sniff Chastain's underarm area.

The director of the first "Twilight" movie revealed she was nervous about having Robert Pattinson kiss co-star Kristen Stewart when she was underage.  The first movie came out in 2008 after the books by author Stephanie Meyer became a cultural phenomenon. As part of the audition process, the two leads of the franchise met at director Catherine Hardwicke’s home where they did a screen test together that included a kissing scene, which gave the director some serious second thoughts after it happened.  Speaking on "The Big Hit Show" podcast recently, Harwicke explained that she had the duo over to her home in 2007 and brought them to the bedroom where they allegedly went a little overboard while testing their chemistry during a scene that required the characters to kiss.The director revealed that Pattinson fell off the bed at one point because they got so into it.  Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson did a screen test for "Twilight" when she was underage.
