Daft Punk fan has recreated ‘Face To Face’ using updated samples from the likes of Radiohead, LCD Soundsystem and more – listen to it below.Whilst the original ‘Face To Face’ uses samples sourced from 1968-1982, YouTube user Nickster decided to try and redo the song using samples from more contemporary albums.Along side Radiohead and LCD Soundsystem, listeners can also spot MGMT, Carly Rae Jepsen and System of a Down in the mix.In the description, Nickster wrote that the project was “mostly just something I did for fun”, adding: “I wanted to see how close I could get to the original song while using entirely different samples. Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter is set to provide the score for a new ballet called Mythologies, it has been announced.The project is Bangalter’s first since Daft Punk announced they were parting ways in February 2021.Mythologies will be co-produced by Opéra National de Bordeaux and Ballet Preljocal. It will take place over 90 minutes and will, according to a translation, tackle the “founding myths that shape the collective imagination”.It will run over July 1-10, 2022, at Bordeaux’s Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux and will be directed by Angelin Preljocal, the choreographer and founder of Ballet Preljocal.

Death From Above 1979 have revealed to NME that they turned down the chance to reunite to support Daft Punk on the dance duo’s legendary ‘Alive 2007’ tour.The band were speaking in a new interview ahead of the release of their new album ‘Is 4 Lovers’ this week (March 26).In the interview, the band’s Jesse F.
