Prince William and Kate Middleton kicked off their new school year on Wednesday.Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 4, attended a «settling in afternoon» for new students at the Lambrook School, and were accompanied by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge for the special day, Kensington Palace announced Wednesday afternoon.The family was in high spirits as they walked through campus. George and Louis twinned in adorable school uniforms — including white, checkered button-down shirts, blue shorts and black shoes — while Charlotte was all smiles as she wore her hair back in braids and a uniform dress.With their mom in a gorgeous white-and-copper polka dot dress and their royal dad styling in a navy suit, sans tie, the happy family looked picture perfect.According to the Palace, «The settling in afternoon is an annual event held to welcome new starters and their families to Lambrook and takes place the day before the start of the new school term.»George, Charlotte and Louis all officially start their academic term on Thursday.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's three children are to start a new school next month. Prince William and his wife Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge are moving their family to a new home in Windsor and it's now been revealed their children - Prince George, nine, Princess Charlotte, seven and Prince Louis, four - will be enrolled at the £7,000-a-term Lambrook School near Ascot, Berkshire which is just a nine-mile journey from their four-bedroomed Adelaide Cottage on the Windsor estate close to Windsor Castle. Prince George and Princess Charlotte previously attended Thomas’s prep school in London's Battersea.

Prince William, Kate Middleton and their three children are saying goodbye to their home at Kensington Palace, and moving to a new residence 30 miles away in the county of Berkshire -- home of Windsor Castle, where Queen Elizabeth II resides.A source told ET in June,  «Prince William and Duchess Kate are expected to relocate this fall to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor. The couple have been looking at schools in the Berkshire area near Bucklebury, where Kate’s parents are and closer to the Queen’s home base at Windsor Castle.»The cottage is just a short walk from the queen's home, giving the family easier access to the 96-year-old monarch. For its part, Lambrook is known to be one of the top prep schools in the U.K.
