Brazen thief caught on camera stealing tools from popular children's attraction
A shameless thief was caught on camera stealing tools from a popular attraction in Bolton.The burglary happened at Smithills Open Farm, on Smithills Dean Road, just before 10pm on Monday evening.Carl Grimshaw, who runs the farm, says it is the second theft at the site in the last five weeks, leaving him more than £1,600 out of pocket.The farm is usually a popular children's attraction, with families visiting to see how things work and take a look at the animals, from cows and sheep to rare snakes.But, during the coronavirus lockdown the business has had to remain closed or allow only limited numbers of people through the door.Carl thinks the most recent theft is related to the previous incident because of the items that were taken."We're
