Bananas.In their eight years of existence, Savannah’s alt-baseball team has introduced absurd rules, dancing umpires, players on stilts, showy on-field introductions, flaming bats and many more quirks to the game.Plus, former Major League Baseball icons like Johnny Damon, Barry Zito, Jake Peavy, Hunter Pence and Bill “Spaceman” Lee have all suited up for the team.“I see Banana Ball as its own sport,” head coach Tyler Gillum told the NY Post. “It’s all about creating joy.

banana ball.Starting Feb. 8, 2024, the Savannah Bananas will kick off their nationwide 2024 season where they’ll bring in trick pitchers, plop catchers down on bean bags, let umpires dance and even let former MLBers like Johnny Damon, Barry Zito, Jake Peavy, Hunter Pence and Bill “Spaceman” Lee play.And this time around, they’re playing much bigger venues.Last season, the Bananas would square off against the Party Animals — they’re sort of the Washington Generals to the Bananas’ Harlem Globetrotters — in minor league parks and novelty stadiums.

The Masked Singer is back!

Fox’s The Masked Singer is kicking off its tenth season with a bit of a celebration.

Fox has moved up the Season 10 premiere date for The Masked Singer to 8 PM ET/5 PM PT, Sunday, September 10, immediately following the NFL Double Header. Initially scheduled to debut on September 27, the competition series will take two weeks off, then return on that date for its official time period slot from 8-9 PM ET/PT/ for the remainder of the season.
