Friday Night Dinner star Paul Ritter has died at the age of 54. The star died of a brain tumour and passed away on Monday at home alongside his wife and two sons, his agent has told the Guardian.
Ritter starred as the family patriarch Martin Goodman in Channel 4’s Friday Night Dinner alongside Tamsin Greig, Simon Bird and Tom Rosenthal.
He also starred in numerous films including Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and James Bond movie, Quantum of Solace. A statement confirming his sad passing said: “It is with great sadness we can confirm that Paul Ritter passed away last night. "He died peacefully at home with his wife Polly and sons Frank and Noah by his side.
