The plot of the series follows the male co-host of a morning show who is accused of sexual misconduct, similar to the way Matt Lauer was when he was a co-host on The Today Show. Katie, who hosted that morning show with Lauer for many years, opened up about the TV series on the podcast Everything Iconic with Danny Pellegrino. Katie said she had “so many thoughts” while watching the show.
