Emilia Clarke is opening up about the fears she had following several brain injuries and the repercussions it would have on her work filming Game of Thrones.

The star of the HBO fantasy drama suffered two aneurysms in 2011 and 2013 and was worried it would affect her work playing Daenerys Targaryen. “When you have a brain injury, because it alters your sense of self on such a dramatic level, all of the insecurities you have going into the workplace quadruple overnight,” Clarke said in an interview with Big Issue. “The first fear we all had was: ‘Oh my God, am I going to get fired?
