The Juno actor posed for the shirtless snap following top surgery - which is where breast tissue is removed. Captured 'beaming', it's the first time he has shown his bare chest after coming out as transgender in December.
The 34-year-old wrote: "Trans bb’s first swim trunks #transjoy #transisbeautiful". Shared to his 5.3 million Instagram followers, the post has had more than 2.4 million likes, and thousands of comments of praise.
