EastEnders' first look at Mitchell family as flashback episode air date is confirmed
ok.co.ukEastEnders is set to air a special flashback episode in September, which will see the history of the iconic Mitchell family unearthed for the first time.
The one-off episode will transport viewers back to the winter of 1979 as the Mitchells attempt to navigate through economic turmoil in Britain.
After first teasing the episode in July and revealing that Jaime Winstone will take on the role of family matriarch Peggy, the soap has now unveiled a full family portrait ahead of the flashback episode's release.Taken in a conventional 1970s dining room, Peggy can be seen flanked by her two sons, Phil and Grant, played by actors Daniel Delaney and Teddy Jay.
A young Billy Mitchell, who will be portrayed by George Greenland, lurks in the background, while his older brother Charlie Mitchell, played by Charlie Heptinstall, is positioned next to him in the corner of the room.
