Family blast 'riddled' Glasgow Royal Infirmary after great-grandad dies of Covid
Covid-19.Sprightly Joseph Shaw - a former councillor from North Lanarkshire - was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary after a fall at his home with a suspected broken hip.But his family say he was put on a ward where other people had Coronavirus, then he caught the killer bug and died at the age of 82.His family said the virus was “out of control” at the ageing hospital.The news comes as senior doctors at the city’s facility have raised concerns about Covid-19 infection control.Another man - whose father died after catching Covid in the same hospital - claims he was also placed on a ward with patients who had tested positive for the virus.Joseph’s son in law Scott McGarrill, from Chryston, North Lanarkshire, said: “This can’t be swept under
