Get the stories that matter to you sent straight to your inbox with our daily newsletter.A dedicated volunteer who goes above and beyond for local youngsters in her care has been thanked by her grateful friend.Sandra Whiteford, 48, who runs the Wishaw Whizz Kids youth club in Pather Community Centre, was nominated for our Say It With Flowers award by her friend, Pauline McGuckin.Sandra, from Newmains, attended Wishaw High School, and after leaving school worked in the town’s textile factory, before going on to work for Levi’s in Whitburn after her son was born in 2002.She now lives in Harthill with her children, Aaron and Cara, and works in the Wishaw branch of Tesco in Belhaven Road, where she has been for the last couple of years.After
