Driver fighting for life after M6 crash as motorists trapped in major delays
was seriously injured after the three-vehicle collision near Warrington.An air ambulance was called to the scene.The motorway was closed in both directions between junction 23 for Haydock and 22 for Newton Le Willows following the southbound crash. The northbound carriageway has since reopened with drivers facing 60 minute delays but the southbound remains shut.
