Cyclist in 80s remains seriously injured in hospital more than a week after collision
An elderly cyclist is in hospital in a serious condition after a collision in Trafford.The cyclist – a man in his 80s – was found lying injured on Thorley Lane, in Timperley, on the morning of Sunday, May 31.He was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.More than a week later he remains in hospital where his condition is described as stable.Police were called to the scene at around 11.50am.Officers are investigating the cause of the incident.No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.Investigators are appealing for anyone with dashcam footage, or who witnessed the incident to come forward.Sergeant Matthew Picton, of Greater Manchester Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: "This was a tragic incident where a man in
