Gay Footballer Josh Cavallo Expresses Fears About World Cup In Homophobic Qatar
Australian footballer Josh Cavallo, who came out as gay a fortnight ago, has shared his fears about playing at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, a country that punishes homosexuality with the death penalty. Qatar is ranked 143 out of 150 nations on the LGBTQ+ travel safety index, making it one of the most dangerous countries for LGBTQIA+ people to visit.
