Get the stories that matter to you sent straight to your inbox with our daily newsletter.Police are appealing for information after a thief stole keys for a van in Shotts and drove off.Officers were called to the incident in Dyfrig Street at around 8.45pm on November 17 when the vehicle was nicked.A man approached the driver while he was outside the van and demanded the keys before making off with it.The crook is described as being a white male and was wearing dark clothing.Sgt Lorna Hinshelwood, from Wishaw Police Office, said: “This was a frightening experience for the driver and we would appeal to anyone who was in the area at that time to come forward with information.”Anyone with information regarding this incident should contact
